About this place
For a meal centred on the table, Fukuda’s courses featuring yose nabe with duck are worth a look. The hot pot follows appetisers, sashimi, grilled dishes and vinegared dishes; finish with rice porridge or udon. It’s a meal designed to be enjoyed around the pot, right through to the final dish. The listed courses cost 4,100 yen, 4,600 yen and 5,200 yen, with different dishes in each. The 4,600-yen course adds fried food, while the 5,200-yen option also includes a steamed dish. These courses offer a choice for a leisurely meal from appetisers through to dessert, or for a group looking to share a hot pot.
À la carte choices include shrimp kakiage (890 yen), assorted tempura (1,550 yen) and agedashi tofu (650 yen). For a few fried dishes, there are also deep-fried octopus (730 yen) and tororo nori rolls (690 yen). Beer and wine are available to pair with the food. Choose a course and take your time, or order a few dishes to suit your taste. This reservable izakaya is in Kitamine-machi, Denenchofu.
